What  Conficker virus did in 2008, was unknown. The mystery over it was big.

In the beginning, there was nothing terrible about the virus other than the horrible name.Conficker was assembling an army called a computer "botnet", but no one knew where the battle would take place.

Infected computers, potential zombies, were forced by the virus to visit certain websites on certain days- what was the purpose of this? Who knows?

Most government companies have installed security updates to protect their computers, but some infected computers still remain in the zombie army.

Theoretically, the latter can still be exposed to the Conficker virus at any time if it starts working.
