The Sasser virus was devastating when it went viral on the Internet in 2004. His targets were the British Coast Guard (geolocation ceased to operate), Agence France-Presse (loss of communication with satellites) and Delta Airlines (flights were canceled due to the collapse of the internal computer network).

In universities, hospitals and large corporations, computer networks became infected with the virus. Who was responsible for such large-scale cyber-attacks? The enemies of society? The government? Or maybe a 17-year-old German child?  Right !!

As a minor, Sven Yashan was not forced to serve his sentence in prison. But he was sentenced to 21 months of probation and community service. Eh, youth.
